It probably differs depending on location, but for us it was Zillow that brought the most interest and most serious applicants.

We've taken on the management of so many properties over the years that were veritable death traps before we came in and brought them to code; non-working smoke detectors, missing CO detectors, mold issues, myriad safety issues and on and on. 

Insurance has requested more and more details, which we have provided, but has told us that their numbers are significantly different from ours and recently brought one of their preferred rebuild vendors to the site to provide a different quote. 

I found THIS article and have been incorporating some of it and it has brought me buyers.

We are brought up to think we must buy our primary 1st before even thinking about investing - but this is linear thinking. 

My agent brought it to me and I have already had a bid from a general contractor on expanding it and rehabbing it.

An agent/friend knew I was looking for a flip property and brought it to me.
