Hi,My tenant just moved out after doing some minor damage in the property and I am going to refund her security deposit.

i've heard so many people 'winning' houses on auction dot com only the hear even a year later their 5k or 10k 'deposit' is being held meanwhile the house they 'won' keeps relisting for 'auction' every few weeks for years!

I'd be falling all over myself trying to explain to buyers how the option deposit is a good idea/investment.

She told us that she was giving us 30 days notice and that she sent a check for $300 and to apply her $800 deposit to the last months rent.
