I’m also quite introverted and know that this will need to be something I “get over” in order to succeed in this new venture.

@Ramon Wilson you might have jumped the gun on giving up the W2 income, but as long as you bust your butt and put your mind into it, I'm sure you will succeed. 

Be prepared for your friends to laugh at you, for your family to pity you, for your spouse to turn from you in disgust and certainty that you are not going to succeed.

Hello everyone,I'm looking into pursuing my real estate license instead of going straight into college after the Marine Corps because it seems more appealing to me and sparks my interest, plus I feel as though I have the dedication and work ethic to succeed in aspects that others may fail in.Looking for some inputs of your first year in real estate, location, struggles, successes, tips, etc.

To help me succeed for that “why”, I did two things?

Connect with BP people who are succeeding in New Mexico and learn from them.

Educate yourself and you'll be better set to succeed in life and in real estate.

Risk = Reward and generally they never bring in the cash flow that is touted over the long haul might be good until the first annual inspection by hud.. or hud tenant moves on etc etc.The people I see succeed at these price points are usually locals who run these for a living not investors looking for passive income.. so depends on what kind of investors the OP is

Welcome and you have already succeed by paying down that debt, victories are victories no matter the size.

I will likely start investing here first, and but it is interesting to see that other people are doing and succeeding at it
