It’s too late now, but now that I’m at the end of this I’m still not sure whether it was a good deal or not.Here are the numbersTenant rent $1800-30 year mortgage w/ soft 2nd piggy back loan $1550 this includes taxes-Would go up to $1700 in 4 years when 2nd loan stopped being soft (interest only)-Amount owed on loan $280kHouse exterior and garden space is in excellent condition but the tenant unit is dated and will likely need a new boiler, kitchen, and bathroom in the next 5-10yrs.

Maybe he will agree on lower it a bit. and worst thing that could happen you don't get the deal, ( no worries) their Millions of houses. move on and polish your skills, and with that, one day you will become valuable to an investor that will be willing to partner with you.Wish you the best, and I acknowledge you for taking action, I assume you are desperate for your dreams to come quick, but like Warren Buffet Said :“You can't produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant.”Develop that Baby, and you will see him one-day giving fruits...Regards

@Kumar Gaurav when you are looking at buildings like the one my buddy Account Closed pointed out, you need to keep in mind that you will be on the hook for an earthquake retro-fit because this building has a "soft" first story.
