Sounds like a good plan to follow.Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.I am considering shutting down my vacation rental for a couple months or only renting to instate renters.I have turned off instant booking on both Homeaway and Airbnb to prevent people from hot spots renting per the SC governor's orders.I don't want to perpetuate the problem at the sake of making a buck.

My goal is to try to minimize locations while keeping a 10-12 percent CoC return in the San Antonio area.More generally though, I've been looking at going into multi-family housing more as, again, it would reduce the amount of locations I have to manage, at least in the short-medium term.

Sellers are known to be slower than than market to adjust to new realities of supply and demand.I’m curious to see if the large number of “temp offs” and the expired and withdrawn that are not re-listing right back, in fact, might be temporarily reducing the inventory and helping other current sales to occur.
