I made a mistake by housing a similar tenant when I first tried.I now understand that who I put in the house is everything!!!!

Not speaking with the listing agent before making an offer is a rookie agent mistake.

I also realize many people mistake bed bugs for other things like fleas etc.

You'll make mistakes, but you'll grow from them and do better and better each time.

@Chris Stranad - I ask this question because I see other people do the same thing and I don't feel the same way but don't want to make a mistake that I could easily fix. 

I see lots of mistakes and at some point, the market will expose people.  

Sometimes the best thing is to realize you made a mistake and accept it and move forward.

A mistake I made early on during my house hack was that I made minimum payments because my tenant  paid almost all of the mortgage.
