Thanks for this thread, I'm trying to help my sister and brother in law with a VA loan / property, and am trying to find info on a lender that offers VA rehab loans.  

It may also help to show a formal contractor bid with a dollar amount to fix the violations to justify the amount of your OWN MONEY you are asking for.  

Should I really just be leaning on a local real estate agent to help me with the local markets?
