I'm a newby in real estate but I do currently own a house with no mortgage and I'm looking groups or meetings in Atlanta, Ga to do some networking with more experienced individuals.

While this could also represent an opportunity - be realistic in how much more in rent the market can stomach (after fixing up, if you go that route), and review the school district boundaries to identify the best schools in Auburn. 

It wasn't usually him giving us information but him connecting us with resources, more experienced investors, basically him teaching us how to fish.
