Yes in Monmouth flipping has caught on but in my honest opinion everyone wants just tired not ones that really need additional work beyond cosmetic.

I've already dropped about $6k on three units, getting properties cosmetically and repair ready, buying furniture, upgrading fixtures etc.

It was mostly cosmetic with a full bathroom remodel, floors, paint, roof, garage doors, water heater, and various fixes.

I just closed on a duplex in city of LA and plan to do a full remodel but it will mostly be cosmetic.

If they are vacant with tall grass, needing cosmetic updates, etc. it seems to me that someone might want to get rid of it!

I have a terribly hard time finding a well communicating / cost-effective handyman to do a lot of the minor cosmetic work to make my homes rent-ready when a tenant leaves.

I think most of the big ticket items are dealt with, so just cosmetic upgrades possibly needed in between tenants.
