When I saw Jonathan's post in the Bigger Pockets forums, I was compelled to reach out.

I won't attempt to continue to explain any of this from different vantage points or in different manners as I think that all of this is pretty clear.  

@Jason Bott & @Bill Crow,  This article makes a compelling case that “Additional Interest” is a much better option than “Additional Insured.”

When you are starting out, you better have a very compelling story to convince complete strangers to invest (very hard, but not impossible).  

They believe in providing homes that are managed, maintained, and appropriately used in a manner that adds to the value and vitality of our beautiful Pocono Mountains and continues to be a major draw for visitors and the tourism industry.

And this highlights 2 important points, (a) how it's all coming across sounds a lot like "hey, why can't I get great service while paying near to nothing" because (b) the world of R.E. agency has no experience or exposure to such, and works in a VERY regimented manner because most agents have no freedom of anything else, nor out of the box thinking. 

@Patricia Andriolo-Bull you provided a nice summary of your rationale for not utilizing a 1031 exchange and like some others have mentioned, I think #3 is the most compelling and overlooked.

That would make it quite compelling I would feel.

I also try to get them the quote in a timely manner, knowing that other contractors drag their feet.

I just don't have the luxury of spending my time in that manner.
