The risk in wholesaling is loss of earnest money, spending on marketing that leads to no deals, getting a bad reputation if you put bad deals under contract and have to weasel out of them with unethical escape clauses etc....

Hello everyone I have been on bigger pockets for a while but I don't think I have ever posted anything yet.

That's great, but make sure you have an attorney that will make sure that happens with no loss of funds.

That one I may have to suck it up and deal with the twitch, because I'm determined to learn enough here to so I can invest and create some passive income to make up for the loss of income from my husband.

When things take a downturn, you could take a big loss.

So here is my question, if our cost, loss and depreciation is more than our profit, will we not have to pay state, federal tax and will we get a tax return of what we have paid for our room tax.

I imagine you are quite busy if your passion for ethics brings you to this discussion, you wouldn't be bringing this up with only wholesalers on bigger pockets would you?
