My thought was this: Could my fiance or I, (somebody outside ownership or affiliation with the business) create a property holding company that would purchase the home from her parents and lease it back to their business?

If you suspect something is wrong, find the employer on the internet (don't rely on the contact information provided by the applicant) and call them.

Think about it: COVID has forced a lot of businesses to do more remote work which means many people can work from anywhere they want, as long as they have internet and good cell phone connection.

If I do go through with it and get scammed you won't be hearing from me again as I won't even have the funds to pay for the internet service to come on here anymore:)I would imagine they will have a "good" reason they can't share the contract.
