This is an uncommon style of house in the area but it is very southern and it would serve my purposes of incorporating an outdoor livable space that is protected from the elements and also helps to create a Thermodynamic breezeway removing heat from the house which is very important here in Florida.  

Leaky roof + rain + FL heat = mold. 

It is 2 pole barn style buildings, each 30x40, one with concrete and heat, and the other with a rock floor (Cold Storage).

He at times does small items for free due to I give him repeat business with my property rehab jobs. 

The windows are still in pretty good shape, but sadly they are single pane, and this Texas heat can be pretty strong at times.

Plan for system breakdowns and ask questions like how old is the heating system, water system, etc...

You file those papers and get the ball rling that will put heat under their a$$ and finally do not believe a single story they tell about being late .

Most tenants aren't going to tolerate it taking 2-3 weeks to fix their stove/heating/whatever and nor should they.

All the units have the baseboard heating radiators.
