As far as I'm aware, it is definitely the LLLP structure that they are no longer recognizing, not sure if it's state dependent.

@Rich Baer, the disclosure stated the previous owner was not aware of any lead paint throughout the home, so I believe that I will have no problem in that area even though it was built was before the 70's.Also, @Todd Witt, I am asking the realtor to obtain a copy of the move-in inspections also based on your advice.Thanks and good luck!

If you're GC does not know how you feel and isn't aware then I suggest that you meet with him at the house with a list of your concerns with progress and payment of the project to see if you can come to an understanding before you have to shell out more money for any legal fees and on top, possibly have him make it even more difficult for you to reclaim any money that you may have paid him in advance for up coming work.

@Paul Miller,  Sometimes banks are aware of specific problems like this and will negotiate accordingly and sometimes they are not aware.
