In december in winter, during covid when everyone thinks about  the holidays... this is nothing compared to the leads we get during spring and summer...ahh just hold on.. let me find a picture for ya..ahh there you go.So all the leads are free.

Winter on OBX is cold and there are far fewer visitors and some attractions and restaurants close.

Sometimes you can figure the length of time when they show a beautiful sunny day on day 1 and a winters day on the open house day.  

A Lenox was the worst, the condenser constantly leaked due to O ring failures (could have been an install/repair issue) & by the 2nd year the blower & inducer motors both went mid winter.

Main questions are cost-benefit to renting in the winter, and what it is like trying to find resources for cleaning, snow removal, and repairs in that area as we live in the Minneapolis area.   

Maybe when I go down there this winter I'll find someone that can do that work (it's not me for sure!)

Clean ones....sorry, couldn't help myself:)  My STR in Winter Park has great reviews and my secret to success is to make sure the place and linens are clean. 

Depending on the region, property management will take 15+% which does not include the cleaning fee between tenants, cost to winterize your home, and cost for mandatory pest control and other routine maintenance specified by the PM.
