Example, a guest of your tenant trips and falls on your property, and sues you, your homeowner's policy would cover it.

I do not know how difficult it is building such a team in TJ but from my trips to Mexico I suspect a little more challenging than building the team in the US.

Since the tenant began this work AFTER applying and move-in, I realize my lease application should screen for in-home businesses.Here are some of the in-home busness guidelines covered by my lease, association rules and city ordinances:Per the association rules, owners/tenants are allowed to do 'minor' repairs of their own personal vehicles.

Any time they send out a handyman, expect a decent size trip charge.

#1 would be my priority, due to the potential liability of someone tripping/falling and hurting themselves on a hazard you clearly knew existed (and knew you had a duty to repair). 

The way I see it, the cons of option B is remote management, but since I travel to Rhode Island and Columbus, Ohio quite often- its not going to be a special trip to search/oversee these investments.  

I took a trip there deduced it was in deed the place to be and starting buying lots..I bought my first lots for 20k and 40k respectively..
