Unfortunately those tiny fans above your stove and in the bathroom make almost zero difference (especially if theres no windows open for "make up air").A short term fix is to open up windows every so often and turn on ceiling/pedestal fans.

No tiles to crack, no grout to clean and most important, no leaks on seams.In the kitchen I would consider going with a cool, modern look and use metal shelves with little to no doors.

Basically if it's a crack house that is approaching economic obsolescence that rents for less than a couple hundred/unit, then that's Class D and if doctors, lawyers, and business executives would rent there, Class A.

She's not legally required but she many tenants either don't know any better or are willing to leave because they know you're going to crack down.If that doesn't work, you can try contacting the city to see if they will inspect and deem it uninhabitable.
