Do you know about how much it would cost me to get a lawyer to figure these things out?

The most accurate way to figure what a house will sell for in a certain area is to compare with other houses that have sold in that same area, otherwise known as comps or comparable sales.

I don’t really have a mentor figure to help me a long the way, so I was hoping I could get some advice from here.I signed up for my real-estate licenses a few weeks back and my classes start 4/27, one of my question is, would it be wiser to wait until I have competed the class to purchase a home, to obtain somewhat of an advantage when working with a realtor.I’m scared I’m going to get taken advantage of, due to the lack of knowledge in the purchasing a home.

He closes and figures he'll sell the old home soon, but soon enough doesn't seem to be coming.

This was because I had a unique property, and figured she would have a bucket of buyers.

Thanks for the reply-I did figure out how to do some research at the courthouse-after I did that, I found out my lender I've been using in Ca. will do a free title search for me if I use them to close the deal!

I was thinking to figure out a way to start it alone, and then, show him that no one is going to bite his head off, and maybe he will join me… What do you think, guys?

Other houses in the area that were priced 235-255 have not sold and are either now off the market or still there with no buyers...I guess I am trying to figure out if I am just wasting my time here or if there is a chance to get a good house to live in at a good price?

I figure better to have two of the same tool than none at all.

He hasn't gotten back to me with the exact figures.
