Then I left the area, kept the rentals and bought a house where I wanted to live at that time.There is one thing for sure, it would be much easier to "test" the theory by renting where you live and buying rentals for cash flow first.

The most intense part of what we do is house hunting, and we have that down to next to nothing... a call here and there to the PM and we're done... that way I can focus on my day job without worries... are there different/better ways to do it... sure... but so what?
