I wouldn't discourage you from exploring all of Westchester, but also do take a serious look at Yonkers.

My husband and I are just starting to explore the idea of buying a land in the LA area and build a container home.

@Katherine Robbins the letters that I send are very unique and stand out from what other people are sending.  

You mentioned a lot of avenues that I haven't even heard of (subject 2 and arbitrage) - let alone have explored.  

By no means do I believe my way is the best way since everyone has a unique situation (income, expenses, risk tolerance, lift stage, etc).  

Need to explore this more.
