After having your own experience, you'll know what to look out for in a Management company, and I can say this from experiencing first hand.I would connect with other investors that are from Arizona, you can sign a joint venture agreement with them, giving them either a percentage of your rental income or equity, and they will be your boots on the ground.

I would prefer emailing off some info and getting a rough quote before driving over and sitting down for a 2 hour shakedown by a new agent.I would also prefer me current agent not know I am aggressivly shopping around.I have a medium sized portfolio, 7 houses, liability, an auto, RV, renters policy etc.

I haven’t done a deal yet so I was thinking that if I did a fix and flip first it would get my feet wet and I would get some experience and then I can move onto a BRRRR or becoming a landlord.

When I do it, I know it is done.Since this is your first deal, I would highly recommend finding someone in your town who has experience, has a team, and can mentor you through the process.
