It is also obviously important to make sure the property is located in a good neighborhood.I am still over a year away from buying a property in Chicago, but I wanted to post here to get to know some people in the market and hear any advice/thoughts any people on here may have.

With how much the Raleigh area is growing it seems like there is endless opportunity down there but I have struggled to get traction due to my lack of industry experience and local network.I would love to talk with anyone who would be willing to offer advice or lend a hand in any way.

My advice to you is to build out your own very specific goals & strategy, and then simply take action on that one specific strategy to acquire your first investment property with whatever strategy you choose.

However, I only have about $10,000 of capital that I could free up, so I was wondering if someone could offer me advice on the best way to get a deal funded when I find one.
