@Tyrel McAllister I had a terrible experience a few years ago using what I thought was a reputable VC firm.

I already have 4 loans and finances are in pretty good shape with good credit score above 750and am in Atlanta, Georgia.

The smaller banks/credit unions in Fort Worth do not seem to be willing to refinance investment properties - Colonial said that they would, but they want me to have less than 4 investment mortgages and I've got 5... 

The last time I looked at the issue, the 30% federal solar tax credit was only available for personal residences (not investments/rentals).

Are their any special tax credits I should be using or looking into?

Will they require you to have a certain credit score?

I'm doing a few things in my personal finances to clean up a costly divorce I paid for with a second mortgage and credit cards (0% promos).

What it said in that book really made sense to me but at the time I thought there was no way I could do anything about it to start changing my financial life while I was in college so I put it aside amid 22+ credit semesters of college and working part-time jobs, while also always being rehearsal for a play or musical as a theater major.
