I would have thought SmartMove as an arm of TransUnion would have caught this, but was just informed by their customer service that they only do a check based on name and where previously lived, NOT by social security number.

One charges $42 for all checks but has everything "in house" (ability to post online listings on social media sites, craigslist, etc. with an 'Apply Now' button, send e-application, screen request, digital lease, create and send additional documents (add'tl $15), collect rent).

@Joe Fairless I own in Rochester NY and there is some great cash-flow there, they are both very liberal with their Department of Social Service, yet pretty landlord friendly when it comes to evictions.
