It smooths out your cashflows, keeps you from falling into the common BP PM trap of being penny-wise and pound foolish, and most likely will end up saving you time/headaches.

Your HML may have a company they work with frequently that will make it a smooth transition so ask.

A QI with a national presence will probably function more smoothly for you since you're crossing states so there's more state nuance to deal with.

It takes a lot of fine tuning for your accounting but once you set up your system it works pretty smoothly  That way I don't have multiple checkbooks and multiple accounts to balance.Make sure not to hold any property in your operating LLC.
