We've literally dumped everything we have into the project because we wanted to get it done. 3+ months without a usable home has been rough in and of itself, and now there's no end in sight.

@Elliott Wood I totally agree it really doesn't make sense long term, however in short term situations I think it can make sense.

I have ran into a huge problem so I bought this property to fix up and after removing the plywood floor I found out that the entire house has hard wood but the floor is not level and the main joist has termite damage and is sagging.

For example, there has been a movement from darker, cherry wood kitchens to lighter and brighter ones, often with a modern-farmhouse twist.

It is made of wood and wat to close to the house for my liking.

It’s gotten rather nasty over the years and I’m conflicted between just replacing the carpet or refinishing the wood underneath?
