Do you have to have 100% cash ready and go directly to the court houses?

I assume you’ve had direct contact with the workers, maybe hire them direct since you didn’t have someone with workers comp anyway, and hope they don’t get hurt.

But I am headed in the direction of a small development of small houses.

Even if the jobs too big for them, they’ll still be able to point you in the right direction and often times, the good ones will have resources they can suggest. 

Then you can have some good local opinions that might be able to point you in the right direction. 

There is nothing available in my target area so I'm looking to do a direct mail campaign using list source to send out some mailers.

I'd appreciate any referrals or direct messages from contractors.

If you can’t find one, go to the California Association of Realtors website and they should be able to direct you.

Anyone that can get me started or point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

We've since pulled out of the deal, but I'm wondering if anyone has any advice (other than run the other direction) and/or experience with this type of reno.Basically this side by side duplex is splitting down the middle.
