I have a 780 credit score and just got a quote on a refinance of a $400K loan at 67% LTV.

I have 750+ credit score, I have strong and stable W2 income, I am the best credit banks are fighting for, yet this lender is giving me challenges every turn of the process and i am so frustrated with them now.Thinking about not close on the loan, i don't need cash now anyway. 

Unfortunately, even with my 800+ credit score, and a DTI ratio below 15%, they would not give me the HELOC because the Lexus report turned up that someone was renting it.

Felix, generally you'll need ~25% of the purchase price, and the lender would fund the rest, as well as a ~600 and above credit score.
