We narrowed it down to Indiana where my family is from, Louisville KY, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville TN, outside of Austin TX, sort of thought about Florida, and Colorado Springs. 

A cardiovascular surgeon three states away has no interest in calling Ruby to find out if she can clean the cabin on Friday instead of Saturday, or calling Joe Handyman to see if he can get over and fish a snake out of the dryer.  

@Ryan Kelly, since I see you are in Colorado, another resource is Shambala credit union in the republic.

We have been using Evolve Vacation Rental since December 2019 for our one vacation rental in Colorado. 

I’ve even been told that multi family doesn’t work in Colorado for various different reasons.

Some folks in my network are easily able to build in other states, like TX, utah, and Colorado for around $140-160 sq ft ( avg build quality, slab, stucco, moen level finishes) Labor there tends to run $200-$400/day for contractors.

Additionally, using a case in Texas by a lawyer in Colorado in an attempt to justify wholesaling in Ohio is not a good legal opinion.
