@Aengus McMillinYou have 2 realistic options if you want to househack while cashflowing in Seattle1) Go to an outlying region and deal with a commute to find lower prices 2) Hustle your *** off to find off-market deals.Or combine both in an outlying area to increase your chance of success.

There is TONS of cash out there and I mean TONS  as in Wheel barrels ... to me its all regional.. as in regional jobs..

Details3 phase development in Canby Oregon... one chunk will go to neighboring adult care facility to build 80 units.. another phase will go to bigger regional builder and last phase to Lennar.. 

Are there any investors in the south Florida region that can provide some information regarding how the process should be done?

I've been told that it is advantageous to start banking with a local or regional bank in order to leverage that relationship for better rates or terms on loans, etc. 

Also, include the part of the country you are in, as obviously different strategies can apply for different regions (example, it's difficult to invest for cash-flow in California, currently).
