It has actually spurred a good bit of conversation from people that I work indirectly with, which is good for my RE business.

Agents will have to step up their game and be held accountable for all sides of their business now.

Most of my capital came from private, hard-money lenders and other friends and family who could see the opportunity in single family homes in our markets. 

We are also seeing a steep rise YoY in bankruptcies across all chapters (both business and personal) which is another indicator of not only the direction of the housing market, but the general economy as well. 

I have been taught that some private lenders do not require money down.  

Best advice I can offer:  don't mix business with friendship.

Jim its not only CA OR WA  I ( or my clients) have had to remove squatters in virtually every state I have done business in over the last 2 decades..

Your basically asking me to write you a course on how to run your entire business...

If that is how the plumber runs their business another option is to pay it but blast it out on social media in your area about that plumber.
