BTW, there are plenty of agents that suck as well.

My only complaint was they took longer getting the documents to the title company than they said they would, but they still got it done in plenty of time to close.

I'm considering buying a vacation home for my own family but I want to be somewhere that has stuff going on, a decent restaurant / shopping scene nearby and plenty of opportunities for activities and meeting like-minded young urban families.

It's only a 2 hour drive, and there are plenty of low cost/low tax blue collar homes.
