Which was a big part of the initial effort to buy the property in the first place - to own both and so be able to easily re-draw the property line around the garage.So to me it seems like I own 20% of the inherited house AND have a claim to a part of the garage over there.Their position is that my quit claim deed means nothing as they can just give me the $2000. back and then get the investor guy to pay them the $70K.Who is correct?

(I think the jury just split the baby, felt there were huge damages but difficult liability) It easily could have turned into a multi-million dollar verdict with another bad fact or two.

I think the majority of people in these forums would cash out or use a heloc on the 5 paid off houses to purchase a few more...you could easily end up with 10 properties that are being paid for by someone else.

If you are buying that many properties every month, it easily justifies creating a new position within your company (marketer) and possibly bringing in an acquisitions person as well. 10 deals a month is a lot of wholesale fees.

The only reason it was kept is because it's a cash machine that is easily leased.
