Do you have any recommended connections with contractors familiar with new builds or any lenders, you would recommend for construction loans?

The real value for any REIA is meeting the other local investors in person, meeting the other local pros like Realtors, lenders, attorneys, contractors, and more.

I understand the importance of purchasing Title Insurance and always do, just curious if that process is something they are required to always do, are there any laws that require them to do so?

There is no real value to having a LLC, unless you have employees, and really not necessary with adequate insurance coverage.

I've remodeled my own house in Brooklyn, but I'm not familiar with great Rochester area contractors... yet!

They have a social mentality that you need to adapt to and can not set your standards too high while at the same time insuring they adhere to all community rules. 

I am assuming insurance, taxes and some local fees would be applicable as part of the expenses. 

Would I benefit in contacting a general contractor to evaluate or is there another I could call who may specialize in this sort of thing?
