I work in the IT field and my wife in the Medical field.

Should one who just starting out and looking to be a career investor utilizing various forms of investing; for example flips in the short term to produce faster returns and buy and hold for long term cashflow get a real estate license?

I am too busy with my demanding career to focus on RE investing.

My family recently moved to the Jacksonville FL area, and I'm looking to start a part-time business in real estate investing that will eventually lead into a full-time career change.
