New vinyl "wood" plank flooring throughout, new cabinets, countertops, dishwasher, sinks and faucets, lighting fixtures, paint, window treatments, door seals... literally everything but the bathtub and stove was replaced, and it looks beautiful.

We need to mud & tape the whole house, paint, replace 7 windows ( glass block ), finish two whole bathrooms, install kitchen cabinets, install flooring throughout the whole house and probably build a staircase that we already paid the contractor for.Lots of lessons learned on this property on what not to do.

I would agree that a new roof, windows, new tile, new kitchen cabinets will be considered as improvement and depreciate for 27 year or so.
