My little brother had several since he was about 14, first saying he was 16 and had a license to drive babe's cars, and then when he was 16 saying he was 18 to break curfew in our city, then when he was 17 to say he was 21 so he could drink and buy alcohol. 

we closed on our first STR in October, across the street from the beach. but i saw we could turn the 2/2.5 townhome into a 3/3.5. makes it easier for family with older kids. teenage brother and sister might not want to share the same room, possibly the same bed if you are just getting 1 room. or 2 couples and kids share the bunk room. not as easy with only hotels. and the full kitchen for cooking, etc. as mentioned

So I initially purchased my first investment property by myself (under my name / no co-owner/ borrower) back in November 2022 with an FHA Loan and very recently (within this last month) my brother & I have decided to partner up on this deal and on future deals moving forward, and we want to go 50/50 on this deal.
