My wife and I have been trying to learn the basics of Real Estate Investing.

He seems totally fine with the drive but I wonder how similar situations turned out for some of you?

I’m doing simple basic base hits of 8-12 percent consistent return.

House is one property on a large lot but I wanted to look into splitting the lot in two and having two separate new builds... the house that’s currently there is basically a tear down but I wouldn’t even know where to start to do something like this and wanted to hear from anyone who has done it

Basically, City Hall in Del City is not very landlord friendly, especially if you are an out of state landlord.With that being said, I have 3 properties in Del City. 

After 3 years the drive became tedious and we just didn't use the house as much. 

(It’s about a 40 minute commute for me one way to drive here. ) I called around to the waste management company’s and none of them had a big dumpster (40 cubic yard)for at least a week or two.

They are pretty basic in what they want to see .

And FHA buyer are driving prices up to the point that not only there is no cash flow but you are going to be in negative.

As I said, I will be occupying one unit so I’m basically breaking even while living there.
