How can we move over the prior depreciation from personal return to the partnership?

Hello everyone,As a member of a Real Estate Development team, we're actively pursuing opportunities to cultivate relationships in New Jersey, New York, and Maryland.

Great tenants and will hate to see them leave but they must move on due to tax laws of working in a state for more than 1 year.I’m asking what is everyone’s experience with trying to squeeze in STR guests in between MTR tenants.

My team has had great success in everything from MLS, wholesalers and direct purchases.

Keep in mind, you will still have to pay the taxes at some point, you just moved the depreciation write-off forward.e. 

However, if it is already tenant occupied or you have tenants moving in on a certain date, it may be worth soaking up the additional 15% to use the PM contractors.

And not just any real estate deal, but a large deal with many moving parts that they have no experience handling?
