I'm looking at options, and might use a combination of that and great stuff in any little cracks, light fixtures etc to reduce the flow of air from the room to the attic.

Various things are prohibited by law but they are only prevented by your integrity.  

It could be one of those things you do and regret when done or could prevent a sale depending on installation. 

I asked their support about it and was told it was to help prevent fraud.

We will add central air and new furnace, and electrical panel in 2024 or 2025...so some upgrades needed, none urgent.

Same in that planter box under the window.The storm door was a bummer but I felt it was needed so that you could get more natural light and fresh air into the main living area during the nicer months.

However closed circuit might be my best & only option for preventative maintenance.
