Out of State:- If you have $500k in capital I personally would go for appreciation: Nevada or Arizona.

Would I need to write a check to my personal bank account and then get a cashier's check once the funds were transferred?

If it was my personal home, I'd have a curtain if there is a tub/shower combination, but a glass door if it is a stand alone shower.

Both are still under my personal name and my banks are fine with me transferring them to my business name.

I doubt you will make enough to make it worth the management fees and stress when you can make and take a tidy profit and invest that into multiple investment properties and use the VA loan to buy your personal residence where you are going.

I personally am looking for rentals within a few km's of either Sault College or Algoma University because both those schools are focusing on attracting more international students. 

Thanks for the idea, however, I failed to mention that one of the window wells is along the side of a narrow driveway, thus anything built up around the well could get in the way of vehicles trying to use the driveway.

I have done things with attorneys, CPAs, stock brokers, insurance brokers and others successful in business.General business knowledge, understanding of financing requirements, knowing property valuations, maturity in personal financial matters to give general advice, understanding of the foreclosure process, legal aspects as to liability in leading someone into financial matters, fully understanding fraud issues and the differences in a general matter where fraud might be applied as generally thought of and what may constitute bank fraud causing or even attempting to cause a loss to an insured bank having different standards.
