It makes no money and has an HOA which can become a serious pain in your backside.

Wanted to see if there were others out there who are also educators (teachers, professors, school administrators, support staff etc) and real estate investors at the same time. 

@Brandon Shepherd  Melting minds sounds painful :)   I'm a big fan of using a property manager to place my tenants. 

I've developed similar products in the past and at the moment I'm trying to see if such a solution would solve an actual pain point.

I can't speak to the taxes (not a tax expert) but I would expect it to be an administrative and emotional nightmare.

It's a painful process to try and match up website leads with real estate transactions.Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Next, I needed a limited power of attorney (POA) to have administrative oversight of the HELOC and to be able to speak with the bank freely about it.

Problem is, once you commit, it tends to be a long term commitment, because changing later and learning something new all over again is a pain in the butt.Anyone have experience with any of these that they might be willing to share?

I imagine there will be some pain in the next couple of years.
