I believe you can pay extra for a local number, I use the one they gave me which starts with 321.I don't get that many faxes, but sometimes when computers are not working, or contractors have to go to Kinko's to send a scan of something, it's easier for them to fax.

I read somewhere it was a requirement and I went to call and electrician to fix in one of the rooms. but the inspector did not even take notice of the room that did not have a permanent light fixture- so i guess it is not a requirement.

A building built in 1960 might be better maintained and have less issues than one built in 2000.

Hi Nicholas, my advice for you is to start with one property at a time, especially if you're investing out of state.

I'm working on helping some clients/friends of mine get their condo rented as a medium term rental, but not getting many hits on it, only one person that never answered me back after multiple calls and texts (stay has to be 30 days or longer).
