My husband Kevin and I moved here a year and a half ago from Frederick, Maryland because the houses out here are considerably cheaper than just across the river into Maryland.

So the only options are to house hack or buy and sell- which isn't honestly the best idea right now. 

Six years ago people were selling houses for $10,000.

I am also preparing to move down to Phoenix this month in search of a multi-family property to house hack.In our search so far, we have seen these investments in all surrounding cities.

Now we use hotel suppliers - which you can purchase from. 

Location is a big thing I am trying to focus on and am even driving past the houses at night after work to check out the area and make sure it would be somewhere where I would like to live.

Go find some oof-the-market houses and ones that need a little TLC.
