Throw in a flush entry shower, maybe a stand-alone tub, nice cabinets, and a tower between vanities with charging stations etc.You can achieve these 'high-end' types of finishes without spending the big bucks, you just need to know the tricks...Shoot me a PM if you want more ideas or pictures...

I think you'll find, as you can see from the above comments, there are a ton of knowledgeable people here on BP and specifically in Chicago.I personally like Chicago for the exact reasons you mentioned......multiple price points of entry and an endless about of multifamily properties in need of renovation.
