The theory is that each unit (all of which are wrapped in extensive insulation on all six sides and contain ERV HVAC system) should be able to stay warm with just the heat given off by the residents, their stove, tv, lights, etc.

They do contain, sometimes, a history that contains family names and restrictions, that no longer are enforceable, title insurances comapnies will try to get those out of circulation as they may provide information that could become a claim to title, but I'm getting off track.
