Traditionally it's been a pretty rural town that had a boom with the Eagle Ford shale play and then dropped some when oil prices when down, just like most of South Texas.

I think they’ll be some growth in east Portland but am much more excited about Oregon City (as Milwaukie continues to boom, not to mention the revitalization of downtown and the-hopefully-future Willamette Falls project).

This created a boom in the area... also a lot of gentrification which got some push back from long term owners due to tax increase.

Taken to scale, holly-cow, it would be a MAJOR boom of domestic job's in manufacturing and the price of manufactured housing unit's would fall like a stone from the ability to implement assembly line production that only scaling volume would afford.

So while a lot of people are leaving, the state is just fine and remains as booming as ever.

It's not a booming market, but it's consistent.
