Problem is 3 pieces of rock off the wall triggers city inspections and permits ,,,which is another whole can of worms,,,which here will mandate a total gut redo top to bottom including ALL mechanical s incl. heat and air, roof an insulation nightmares if you have 4 inch exterior walls or low attic space, or finish in basement

I do pay about $700/yr for insurance that covers all appliances, plumbing, water heater & air conditioning.

I haven't had to do any repairs besides initially getting things to work (central air/heating, dishwasher, laundry all now work).

Not quite Denver, but I think it'll rebound (being fairly close to the airport, proximity to Denver/DTC, new jobs arriving, etc).

This is great because you get some nice fresh air, and people can experience the tranquility.

I miss going to the NCO and Officer's Clubs, the PX deals, firing range and free flights to anywhere without airport hassels.
