If you print out the Zestimate, you could use it for toilet paper in a pinch, so not entirely useless :) Seriously, though, you can pull your own sold comps from Zillow and come up with your own estimate of value.

Ask them for a list of all the properties in your specified zipcodes that the tax bill is mailed to a different address then the property address.In most counties they will want to give you them on labels, but some are advanced and will give you a spreadsheet, or at the least a printed wideline report.They typically have this service avail for public notices, so if you ask the wrong person and they say "We dont have it"... keep asking.

I do the weekends print version because the cost of paying for 30 day in print is ridiculous and much more than I'm willing to pay.For the flat fee MLS listing I'll use a realtor that I know that charges $399 for 90 days.
