Not exactly a direct answer to the question you asked, but valuable advice IMO on how to discover the answer on your own, and extends beyond just RE agents.

Thay are fine with their existing family, but not the extended family.

It is actually better than most of what I see as the PM is offering to extend thier coverage to the investor.  

If I was starting from your position, extending that runway as much as practical would be my top priority.

Once agreed, extend a week then impose fees.
